Freak Wars 2027 is Coming: Save the Dates!

We haven't even fully processed everything that happened at Freak Wars 2026, and we're already thinking about the next one. This time around, we won't even have a full year to manage it all—plus, we've gotten ambitious and added an extra day to this massive celebration of the hobby!

Freak Wars 2027 will take place on May 7th, 8th, and 9th. By extending the event by one day, we're easing into what's coming in 2028, when we'll be hosting the World Model Expo globally.

The venue is yet to be confirmed. Naturally, it will be in Madrid, but who knows if we'll finally make the move into the city's largest convention center. It's a huge step forward that commands our respect, but doesn't intimidate us. So right now, it's time to crunch the numbers, review the balance sheet, and share the venue announcement with you as soon as possible.

In the meantime, thank you once again for this 2026 edition where over 9,000 geeks answered the call to the ultimate celebration of wargames, miniature painting, board games, and cosplay. See you in 2027!
