I will give an introduction to backgrounds/backdrops as part of our display figures, showing how I paint them for my own miniatures.

In this demo, you will be able to see the fundamentals for achieving a background/backdrop that reinforces the atmosphere and depth in the painting of your figures for display and/or competition.

Since 2019, when I started adding this element to my miniatures, it has become a recurring and characteristic feature in my pieces, and even in my painting style.

The workshops I run also focus on this approach to painting, and here I bring you a taste of what you could learn in them.
I hope this vision of painting proves as enriching and stimulating for you as it has for me!
