In this talk, I'll share the complete process I follow to develop a competition project, from choosing the idea and initial planning to composition, narrative, time management, and final execution. We'll discuss how to make decisions that enhance the visual impact of the piece, avoid common mistakes, and tackle a long-term project without losing focus. We'll also do a live analysis of the winning piece from Slayer Sword Adepticon 2026.
