Welcome!!
Once again at Freak Wars, we have one of our most spectacular and fun contests: the Props Contest.
It is one of our favorites because while it lasts, we can see your creation skills in their purest form… and live. Materials, tools, creativity, and ingenuity mix while you shape your projects in front of the audience.
Theme
This year, the challenge will consist of creating an atmospheric piece inspired by Asian culture.
You can draw inspiration from a huge variety of styles and references: temples, armor, relics, ritual objects, decorative elements, scenery pieces, fantastic or historical artifacts… from Japan, China, or Korea to other corners of the continent, or any universe that resembles this style.
How the contest works
As in previous editions, the challenge will begin on Sunday starting at 11:00.
Participants will have limited time to create their prop from scratch during the event itself.
Thanks to our sponsor Feroca, we will provide materials and tools to work with during the contest. Therefore, the only things you need to bring are:
A clear idea
A plan on how to build your piece
The rest… you’ll have to do right then and there!
Free registration
Registration is free (although you must have an event ticket).
This year's prizes are incredible, so don't hesitate too long because places are very limited.
