Welcome cosplayers!!
Once again, Freak Wars will host its now-classic Cosplay Contest, focused on the massive and exciting universe of wargames. A perfect stage for you to showcase your work, your creativity, and all the effort behind every armor piece, prop, or makeup... always inspired by the world of wargames (or getting as close to it as possible).
A vast universe of characters
Wargames encompass many different universes. From original worlds created specifically for the hobby, such as Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Warmachine, or Infinity, to games set in major sagas from film, television, comics, or literature.
For example, there are wargames set in universes as well-known as Star Wars (Star Wars: Legion or Shatterpoint), Marvel (Marvel Crisis Protocol), A Song of Ice and Fire / Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire Miniatures Game), or The Lord of the Rings (Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game).
If your cosplay is inspired by a character that appears in any of these miniature games —or in a universe that has its own wargame— it will surely fit perfectly into the contest!
Free registration
Registration is free (although you must have a ticket for the event), so don't hesitate: whether you want to show off your talent or simply want to experience it and have a great time, this is your moment!
Unique prizes
We know well that creating a cosplay from scratch requires many hours of work, dedication, and passion, which is why this year we once again have a great number of prizes.
Among them, the Best Cosplay award stands out, with a reward of 250€.
But that's not all: the winner will also become the official image of Freak Wars 2027, with their own miniature and illustration inspired by their cosplay. A unique opportunity to become part of the event's history!
