We know that finding affordable accommodation in Madrid for Freak Wars this year has been tricky. With the Formula 1 Grand Prix taking place the same weekend, hotel prices across the city have skyrocketed. But we don't want accommodation costs to stop anyone from joining us!
To solve this, we’ve partnered with Hostel The Lazy Monkey, a brand-new design hostel with modern, top-notch facilities. Best of all, they have temporarily blocked the hostel exclusively for the Freak Wars community for Friday 11th and Saturday 12th September, making almost the entire venue our very own home base.

Plus, the location is great for exploring Madrid’s nightlife on Friday evening—perfect for getting food, drinks, and meeting fellow attendees before the event weekend officially kicks off.
Exclusive 10% Discount & Reservation Window
We have 103 beds reserved exclusively for our community. The base rate for Friday and Saturday night is €45/night in shared rooms, to which our 10% discount will be applied. The discount is also valid if you decide to extend your stay to include Thursday 10th or Sunday 13th.
Important Deadline! The exclusive block for Freak Wars will remain active until Friday, August 21st at 00:01 CEST. After this date, remaining beds will open to the general public on Booking and Hostelworld. While the 10% discount will still apply as long as beds are available, we strongly recommend booking before August 21st to guarantee your spot and keep the hostel filled with fellow event-goers.

To claim the promotional rate, bookings must be handled directly via email with the reception team rather than through public booking platforms. Send an email to lazymonkeymadrid@gmail.com using the following template:
